IN EVERY GENERATION!
There will be one girl chosen to combat the forces of darkness and yada yada yada blah blah blah. We all know the story of Buffy Summers and who she is, what she stands for and why she's all that and a bag of potato chips. Many of us bore witness to the end of the show; the destruction of the Sunnydale Hellmouth and the spell cast by Willow Rosenberg to make all of the Potential Slayers real Slayers. Of course, this was a wonderful ending to a wonderful show but that isn't where our story begins. In fact, it doesn't begin any time after that event. No, we're taking the story into our own hands and starting back at the start of College!
THIS IS OUR TOWN
November, 1999. That's where we'll be picking up the story, with a few minor edits. What in the world? Edits?! Well, here they are. Faith woke up, was taken by the Watcher's Council but escaped and is an unknown location at the current moment in time. The Initiative does not exist as a government funded agency but is instead a privately funded organization with unknown supporters. Maggie Walsh is still the head of the group and teaches Psychology at the University. Riley Finn retains his previous role but is not with Buffy. Oz has already left and come back with Willow choosing Tara over him. Adam, Maggie's project in the show, does not exist. Wait?! The big bad from season four is gone?!
THE FUTURE IS UNCLEAR
The Watcher's Council, having fired Giles and being rejected by Buffy, has taken a great interest in Sunnydale. Their agents infest the city, each doing their own part for the Council. Their reasoning behind their sudden increase of activity is unclear, but many speculate that they're watching for something specific and might even be attempting to stop it. On the flipside of that, demonic activity is at an all time high with death rates climbing even though the Slayer is out patrolling nearly every night! Something big is going down in Sunnydale and with the world all crazy and goodness knows what out there, life is going to get interesting fast.
