Violet was sitting at the table with her family and Odette. She'd been eating the food like everyone else for a change, not just picking at it like she usually did, of course Violet wasn't eating the turkey, she didn't eat meat. She was simply eating the mashed potatos, yams, green beans, and other things like that that had no meat in them. Her family had been supportive of her vegetarian choice so they did their best to continue it. She and her dad, Andrew continued the tradition of making the pumpkin pie together something he'd started after Laya was adopted because Violet had felt like she was going to get sent away.

Violet loved her sister, it was just when you are that young and another child gets adopted it made her think that she was going to be sent away so her dad started letting her help him with the pie and after that it just kind of became tradition. Violet asked for the water and once she had some in her glass she took small sips of it. She sighed and then asked to be excused for a minute. Since everyone else was done eating and she said she needed to feed Lily.

Violet went up to her room and didn't shut the door all the way figuring people were going to stay down stairs and socialize. Violet fed her cat like she'd said she would and then went into her personal bathroom and stuck her finger down her throat to make herself throw up into the toliet. She didn't want to get fat and all the food she'd eaten would make her fat. She continued to dry heave for a few minutes after her stomach had emptied out.
