a minute in new york city can feel like nothing, especially if you're a fast-talking speed-walking native like most of us are. if you're one of those tourists who clog up our streets with your sightseeing, you just don't get what being in new york really means. the only time you'll really know is when you have a job here. jobs in nyc come and go, but you always know where the best are located. of course, they go to the uppercrust. in other words, the privleged. of course, you could become one too, if you try hard enough. but it doesn't even matter, because if you've got talent, there's one place where you'll always be safe: minute.
minute is easily the best magazine that you'll find in new york, or anywhere. it's got celebrity gossip, the hottest trends, the coolest clubs, and, of course, model spotlight. if you know your clothes, your photoshopping, your modeling, or your compromising, come here. spots are always open. at least the "lackey" jobs are. the lackeys are the ones who fetch the coffee and the ones who do the dry-cleaning. but who knows? eliza taylor might like you. if that happens, it's bye-bye starbucks and hello amazing new office. with eliza on your side, your door will be open to the best clothes, the coolest people, and the most recognition possible. in other words, she's god.
eliza rae taylor, fashion maven and all around success. she's got everything: money, youth, brains, as well as a mean streak and fiesty attitude. i mentioned before that if you're on her good side, you've got it made. however, i convieniently left out the fact that only a small group of people are on her good side. believe me, they've worked to be there. are you up for the challenge of surviving the insane workplace? take a shot! luck could be on your side. all i can tell you is work, work, work! and obviously watch project runway.
now listen up. i'm not that gossip girl bitch you see on that trashy show. i'm the.. not-so-trashy one. i'm the street-smart one, and the all around better one. i'm her older sister she wishes she could be. have guy problems? go to her. have bitchy coworker problems? have a boss that just sucks? need help with midterm studying? come to me. for as long as you live in new york city, i'm going to be your best friend. use me to your advantage.
